The Elite

Very doodly doodle of the Elite 4 for my original region, Selvah~ They're the head of the Rhythm League - a league set in such a dangerous region it requires league challangers to already have 8 badges from another region. Fun!

This is a project markerart and I played around with in High School (Caspian belongs to him). We did a lot of work for it, so why not show it off? I might even post some old drawings that we did for it XD

Anywhosle, these four... I didn't change much of their old 'final' designs, surprisingly enough haha. If you'd like to know more about them, just ask!

Here's some basic info on them:

MAXINE: 25 years old, rather famous punk rocker from Selvah, something of a trainer prodigy and former Silver League champion (three years in a row), who was approached by the league committee to help when talk of a league opening in Selvah began- you could say she was one of the league founders, and the Elite Four were chosen on her recommendations. Gets some flak from the other Champions for her age, but at least gets along with Diantha pretty swimmingly (both stars and all)

VALENCIA: A 30 year old surfer who grew up on Cinnabar Island. Her starter was a magikarp that she fished out of the ocean, and all the kids made fun of her until it evolved. She decided to take on the Indigo League to prove her magikarp was a boss, and ended up sweeping the leaders and the final tournament. She then returned to surfing, though she considered starting a gym on the Orange Islands for a while.

CASPIAN: A 35 year old veteran of the Hoenn Navy, also the brother of one of the 'main trio'. He's seen the world, but he's too grumpy to really tell any stories. He's the only one of the four that never participated in a league tournament, but he does have a few badges from each region.

MALTHUS: 31 year old gardener from Pastoria City, Sinnoh, and originally made his living working at the Great Marsh. Seeing all the trainers pass though made him want to try as well, and he took on the gym leaders and participated in the Lily of the Valley league twice- once taking third and the second becoming the champion. Afterward he did open his own gym, but soon after shut it down in favor of running a botany business which included a lot of traveling.

SITA: 27 year old freelance programmer from Unova who made her living traveling around, helping everyone from professors to big businesses with computer technology, and training up her pokemon in the meanwhile. Eventually got contracted by Sliph Co., where she started making the big bucks. She used some of her newly found luxery to travel Unova with style and eventually take the league, sweeping the Vetress Conference as a total dark horse. Her favorite pastime is making REALLY bad science puns
