I said Sheva was my only arrancar, I lied~ This is Des Salazar. She's based on cicadas. I like her design, though she's pretty off-model from who I intended her to look like haha. It was just a quick sketch though, it'll be better next time~ I'm also working out her personality still haha

Build: lithe, rather slim, and has the build of a gymnast. She has somewhat longer limbs for her height

Distinguishing marks: Mask fragments: on both sids of her face, around her neck, and wing-like protrusions down her back

Number: On her left clavicle

Occupation: none

Former occupation: Number 87 in Aizen's army

Zanpakuto: Melodía Solemne (solemn melody)- appears as a 15" tanto, with what looks like black chitin instead of a handle wrapping

Release: Command- 'Decir' (call)
2 forms: 1st: total defense, almost cocoon-like nymph form. She gains a hard exoskeleton and full mask
2nd: 'adult' form: she sheds most of the bulky skeleton, leaving behind what looks like plate armor and much longer wings. Her powers revolve around sound

Reiatsu: colorless, manifests as sound

Brief personality: Des is selectively mute; she almost never speaks, choosing instead to communicate through body language and short sounds. She is somewhat ashamed of what she is, and wanted no part of Aizen's army. She still wishes to consider herself human, but holds some resentment towards shinigami for forgetting about her and letting her transform into a hollow, which is one of the reasons she prefers not to speak. She doesn't trust any of her fellow species, and refuses to raise a hand against humans, a desire so strong it pushed through her hollow basal instincts and actually made her a somewhat weaker hollow. Despite that, Des is an adventurous individual, values her freedom and strives for independence, but at the same time would rather avoid fighting when she can. She's soft spoken and not very agressive or dominant, and would love nothing more than to get a lover and travel the world for several years before settling down to a peaceful, but stimulating, life. Des survived to arrancarhood by stealth and wits, and because of her non-agressive nature, would rather make peace with shinigami rather than acting on her resentment.
