Description

Warm up gone awry... :P

Doodlie of ms Shibata Kazu, my saltine jounin.

Her kekkei genki is wind+lighting SOLAR WIND RELEASE : D supersonic plasma, ionizing radiation, magnetic disruption, ect ect. The radiation side effect of the release was a problem for her family in the past, as it would slowly degrade their bodies, which usually started in their arms and eventually made them useless. The Shibata Clan eventually developed a method of surgically inserting radiation-resistant metal tubing into their arms, which not only helps focus the release, but shields the user from the radiation. (I guess the process would be similar to how Zaku got his air tubes). Shibata family members with the Kekkei Genki are taught to only use the techniques if they have the body modification, unless they want to lose their arms/ die a slow horrible death. Many of the oldest members of the clan are missing an arm or two because of this

The modification also helps them shield their teammates from their abilities... Solar release was forbidden for a short period of time following a bad friendly-fire incident during the 3rd's first go-around as Hokage.

I like to tell myself I'm getting better at shading and effects haha but it is a LIE

Looks great! I really love her design and the kekkei genki sounds awesome.

I think you are getting better at shading an effects. Though one thing I'd like to point out is that the furthest arm (almost wrote farm) looks oddly thin in the elbow area.I wasn't sure if it was just the perspective or if it's supposed to be like that but it looks sorta out of place. I'm sorry, I feel like a bitch for bringing it up. >_< Everything else looks great. Especially the trousers, I love how you've done them.
